Lawrence
The late actor Lawrence Tierney. The caption under which I found this photo said it was taken in the 50's after Lawrence lost a fight with the LAPD. Apparently, this wasn't a rare occurrence and he was known to be a bit crazy and pugilistic in the 50's Hollywood scene. Most readers will recognize him as Joe in Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs, but he had a decent career when he was younger.
Good parts in Star Trek: TNG and the Boston movie Southie, both after appearing in Reservoir Dogs.
If you ever get the chance, watch the tribute to Lawrence by Tarantino and the cast of Reservoir Dogs, especially Chris Penn who relates a few hilarious stories on the special deluxe edition of movie. Good stuff.

Can't help it. Every time I see this guy I can't help but think of him beating Rihanna. She's still supporting him, in court and all of that, so is she suffering from 'battered wife' syndrome, was this type of physicality an acceptable aspect of their relationship, or is she scared of eventual retribution from him and this is an appeasement? Got me, and all I know is this guy's a douchebag.
His handiwork, posting it really large for a reason and I'm not apologizing. Take a good damn look as this is the face of domestic abuse:

Last Weekend's Storm
So glad I'm in San Diego. The folks got a good two feet of snow last weekend.

Ghosts!
This is actually really real. In West Virgina they have this historical market near the gravesite of Zona Heaster Shue whose husband was arrested, convicted, and executed for her murder. But what evidence was used to convict him? None other than the testimony of a ghost, as you can see on this marker! For real!!! In America! Bwah-hahaha!
And if you have a see a ghost, but somehow someway you're allowed to decide when and where (and maybe even who) the ghost is going to appear, I think this place during the day would be a good 'first appearance' or a good 'losing of your ghost witnessing virginity'. And of course if Sir Arthur is the ghost I would just have a big picnic in this field by his resting place and have him read Holmes stories to me all afternoon! That would be so much better than popping my cherry in a creepy dark old house at midnight by the ghost of Hitler or Marty Feldman.
